Teaching young women how government works, since 1947

Nevada Girls State is a weeklong program in state and local government for young women who have just finished their junior year of high school. Participants create and run their own city, county, and state governments, write and debate their own legislation, and elect two senators to represent Nevada at ALA Girls Nation.
